Art
At Wygate Park Academy our learners are provided with an art education that connects them to their world and cultural history.
We provide all pupils with the opportunity to master Art and Design. Pupils will be taught through a progressive curriculum which will allow them to build on their respective art knowledge and skills as they move through their year groups.
Pupils will be encouraged to develop a keen interest in artists relevant to the learning themes as well as draw on previous experiences of artists they have encountered, they will gain experience of developing their techniques when using a range of mediums and media providing them with the skills to be able to express their ideas and thoughts about art.
