School Council

Our School Council represents the voice of pupils across Wygate Park Academy, helping to shape decisions and ensure that every child feels heard. Made up of elected representatives from each class, the council reflects our commitment to British values, especially democracy and individual liberty. Council members listen to the views of their classmates, share ideas during meetings, and work closely with staff to make positive changes that benefit our whole school community.

The School Council also promotes mutual respect and tolerance by encouraging teamwork, fairness and inclusivity in all that we do. They help organise events, support charitable initiatives, and lead important discussions about school life. Through their role, pupils learn how to participate actively in society, express their opinions responsibly, and make a difference. The School Council is an important part of life at Wygate Park Academy, helping everyone to work together and celebrate the school REACH values.
