Do Cows Drink Milk?

To kick start our new topic: ‘Do cows drink milk?’ the reception children visited Sacrewell Farm! They had a lovely day, finding our way around the farm seeing all the different animals & old machinery they had from the past which the children were interested in. They were particularly excited to see the new and very small piglets & were very keen to have a go at milking the plastic cow ‘Daisy’!

Trip to Woodside Wildlife Park

As part of our topic Paws, Claws and Whiskers, Year 1 went on a trip to Woodside Wildlife Park. In Geography we went on a walk around the local area to [...]

Children then completed various activities within their classrooms, including word [...]

As part of our engage week to introduce the new topic, the children made their very own pizzas! They chose their favourite topping, wrote it down on an order form and then the best part…ate it later on! To complete the topic they had a very [...]

Baytree Owl Centre Visit

The children visited Baytree Owl Centre to look at the birds of prey. They had lots of questions they wanted to answer so they asked the experts and read all the information boards. As part of the innovate week the children used paint.net to create their own ultimate predator. They used a teacher of their choice and used their favourite predatory features to turn them into an ultimate predator.
