Wygate House Captains Announced

House Captains have been introduced for the first time at Wygate Park this year, as another way of integrating the whole school community. The children were all randomly selected into 4 different houses: EINSTEIN, CURIE, NEWTON and DARWIN at the beginning of the new academic year. Children for Years 5 & 6 were invited to “apply” for the position of House Captain, and they had to prepare a short speech to read in front of their Houses at a special assembly. Children in each of the Houses were encouraged to put forward questions to the candidates and a vote was conducted.

We are delighted to say that: Freddie Lound (Year 5) is the House Captain for EINSTEIN. Tomas Cukanovas (Year 6) is the House Captain for CURIE. Daniils Masans (Year 6) is the House Captain for DARWIN. Edvinas Micevicius (Year 6) is the House Captain for NEWTON. Well done to all who took part!
