Being online has become an integral part of children and young people’s lives. Social media, online gaming, websites, and apps can be accessed through a wide range of technology – all of which form a part of children and young people’s online world.

As technology continues to grow, it is vitally important that learners at Wygate Park Academy stay safe online. Therefore, throughout the school we want to model and educate our learners on how to use technology positively, safely, and responsibly. We want our learners to understand that there is a choice when using technology and as a school, we want to use utilise technology (including social media) positively and responsibly.
