A massive well done to our Toots group on their performance last night. It was a great performance with lots of people, who were there, commenting on how well they had performed. The children also enjoyed the opportunity to join in with other schools in the federation to sing songs for the finales. Many thanks to all the parents for your support and also to Miss Bonsor and Miss Jesson for their support in teaching and practising with the children. The [...]
The Chestnut class had a wonderful day out at Hunstanton beach and Sealife Centre this term. They learned all about sea creatures and their natural habitats. They then moved onto the beach for a spot of beach combing, collecting all kinds of interesting things from sea shells to pieces of driftwood, which they then used to create seascapes for their class project.
Year 1 had a fantastic time on their trip to the Dinosaur Park. We spent the day exploring the park, hunting out dinosaurs and finding lots of fascinating facts about them! We also had the chance to dig for dinosaur fossils and found a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a Plesiosaurus! We finished the day looking at some real life animals including bearded dragons and snakes! What a fantastic day!
Year 3 Sycamore class went to Flag Fen for their Tribal Tales topic this term. They looked at what life would have been like for a person living in the Stone Age and The Bronze Age. There were lots of activities such as making medicine from plants, building a wall from manure, straw, mud and clay, bread making and stone age rock art. They also enjoyed looking at boats and a bridge originally built over 3,000 years ago!

We spent some time pretending to be at school during the Victorian times- even getting to dress up! The children took pictures of themselves and used editing software to make it appear that the pictures had been taken long ago. They [...]
On the 20th November, 10 boys from years 3 and 4 went to take part in Elite Sports Academy’s Football tournament. The boys found themselves in the silver cup games and played extremely well, managing to [...]
