Do Cows Drink Milk?

To kick start our new topic: ‘Do cows drink milk?’ the reception children visited Sacrewell Farm! They had a lovely day, finding our way around the farm seeing all the different animals & old machinery they had from the past which the children were interested in. They were particularly excited to see the new and very small piglets & were very keen to have a go at milking the plastic cow ‘Daisy’!

Trip to Woodside Wildlife Park

As part of our topic Paws, Claws and Whiskers, Year 1 went on a trip to Woodside Wildlife Park. During our trip we learnt lots about white wolves, reptiles, capybaras (the largest rodent in the world), tigers and owls.
